On a rainy night in the heart of New York City, the streets glistened like polished obsidian under the neon lights. Logan, better known as Wolverine, was prowling through the shadows, the familiar hum of his healing factor tingling at his fingertips. He was on a mission—someone had stolen a vital piece of tech, and rumors had it that the merc with a mouth, Deadpool, was somehow involved.
Deadpool was perched on a rooftop, flipping through his endless supply of tacos. “Taco Tuesday comes once a week, but trouble finds me every day!” he chirped to himself, oblivious to the impending confrontation.
The two had crossed paths many times, and it often ended in chaos. Logan’s patience was razor-thin, while Wade’s penchant for chaos and humor was like adding gasoline to a fire. Tonight, though, it was personal. The tech was part of a weapon that could cause significant destruction if it fell into the wrong hands.
As Logan approached, the rain-soaked alley became a battleground. “Deadpool!” he barked, claws extended and glistening in the dim light.
“Wolverine! Long time no see, buddy!” Deadpool shouted, leaping down in an exaggerated fashion. “You’re looking sharp! Like, really sharp. Are those claws new?”
“Cut the chatter, Wade. Hand over the tech, or I’ll give you a reason to start talking in full sentences.”
Deadpool’s eyes sparkled with mischief. “Oh, Logan, you know I hate it when you play hard to get!” He lunged at Wolverine, sword drawn. The clang of metal echoed through the alley as Wolverine parried the attack, their movements a whirlwind of instinct and agility.
The battle that ensued was a spectacle. Logan’s feral grace clashed with Wade’s unpredictable style—one moment, he was a whirlwind of swords and quips, the next, he was executing a ridiculous somersault, only to land with a flourish. “A dance-off would’ve been cooler, but this’ll do!”
“Focus!” Logan growled, landing a swift punch to Deadpool’s jaw.
Wade staggered back, giggling like a schoolboy. “Oof! That tickled! I think I’ll call you ‘Paw of the North’ from now on!” He retaliated with a series of wild, erratic strikes.
Logan’s patience wore thin as they traded blows. Each time Wade’s sword grazed his skin, it healed almost instantly, but the frustration of dealing with his antics began to wear on him. He landed a powerful kick that sent Deadpool crashing into a dumpster.
“Okay, okay! Time out!” Deadpool exclaimed, raising his hands. “This is fun and all, but I really didn’t steal anything! I swear! I was just trying to buy tacos!”
Logan narrowed his eyes, suspicion evident. “Then what’s that?” He pointed at a small, glowing device tucked inside Deadpool’s utility belt.
“Uh, that? Oh, that’s just my, um, taco delivery tracker! You know how it is!” Deadpool stammered, but the sincerity in his eyes began to penetrate Wolverine’s hardened exterior.
“Cut the crap, Wade. We both know you’re lying.”
Suddenly, the ground shook, and a blast of energy lit up the sky. A group of mercenaries emerged from the shadows, their eyes set on both heroes. “Get the tech, and take out those two!” their leader shouted.
Without missing a beat, Logan and Wade exchanged a look. “Guess we’re teaming up?” Deadpool suggested, a grin plastered on his face.
“Looks like it,” Logan replied, rolling his eyes but feeling a strange sense of camaraderie.
They charged into battle side by side, a chaotic duo weaving through gunfire and blades. Logan’s claws sliced through enemies with precision while Deadpool spun, twirled, and delivered his signature mix of quips and bullets.
As the dust settled, the mercenaries lay defeated. Deadpool, ever the showman, struck a ridiculous pose. “And that, my friends, is how you save the day! Now, about those tacos…”
Logan, catching his breath, couldn’t help but smirk. “You’re lucky you’re not a complete idiot, Wade. But you’ve got a lot of explaining to do.”
“Explain? Oh, I can explain! See, I was working on a top-secret project to create the ultimate taco, but then—”
“Save it. Let’s just find out who’s really behind this,” Logan interrupted, but he felt a strange sense of relief. Maybe working with Deadpool wasn’t so bad after all.
As they left the alley, the rain lightened to a drizzle, and the neon lights reflected their camaraderie—a fierce bond forged in battle, however strange it might be. Together, they set off into the night, a pair of unlikely allies ready to face whatever chaos awaited them next.

Logan looks a little like a Multiverse version of Beavis or Butthead as Wolverine. It’s all in the nostrils. Never noticed the resemblance before. Would be hilarious to see a parody where Logan turns out to be one of their dads.
